Shoreland Classification System.
The public waters of the City of Faribault have been classified below consistent with
the criteria found in Minnesota Regulations, Part 120.3300, and the Protected Waters
Inventory Map for Rice County, Minnesota. All protected watercourses in the City shown
on the Protected Waters Inventory Map for Rice County, a copy of which is hereby adopted
by reference, not given a classification shall be considered "Tributary." The Shoreland
areas for the lakes, rivers and streams shall be shown on the Official Zoning Map.
