Article III. SALVAGE DEALERS |
§ 14-45. Council may direct issuance of license after payment of fee, filing of bond.
The council may, at its discretion, direct the issuance of a license on compliance by the applicant with the following requisites:
(1)
Upon payment by the applicant of the annual license fee prescribed by council resolution.
(2)
Upon the applicant filing with the city administrator a bond in the penal sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) running to the city with two (2) sufficient sureties to be approved by the council, conditioned that he will conduct his business fairly and without fraud or deceit and will conform to all ordinances of the city regulating the business license.
