§ 15-24. U-turns—Determination of intersections where prohibited; posting intersections.
(a)
The council shall determine by resolution those intersections in the city which shall be posted to prohibit U-turns.
(b)
The city engineer shall cause appropriate signs to be posted at intersections in the city so designated by the council pursuant to subsection (a) of this section prohibiting U-turns.
(c)
In any case where the intersection to be posted under subsection (b) of this section is within the confines of a state highway, the city engineer shall obtain prior approval, if required by state law or regulations, from the state commissioner of transportation.
