§ 17-53. Delinquent payment of service fees.

All repeat nuisance service call fees imposed and charged against the owner or occupant under this section shall be deemed delinquent thirty (30) days after the city's mailing a billing statement therefore. Delinquent payments are subject to a ten (10) percent late penalty of the amount due. Failure to submit services fees will result in the service fee plus late penalties being charged to the property owner's property taxes as authorized pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 429.101, 415.01, 366.011 or 366.012. Where the city issues a license, failure to pay service fees shall result in the city not issuing a license until service fees are paid.
