§ 18-1. Speed limits in parks.

(a)

The council may, by resolution, specify the maximum speed for any vehicle in a city park. Each city park so specified shall be posted at its regular entrances with appropriate signs stating the maximum speed limit in such park.

(b)

Any person who operates a vehicle in a city park at a speed exceeding the limit for such park posted under subsection (a) of this section shall be guilty of violating this section and shall be punished in accordance with the penalties provided for speeding violations in Chapter 169, Minnesota Statutes.
