§ 18-10. Liquor and nonintoxicating malt liquor permitted in Alexander Faribault Park (North Alexander) under certain conditions.

  • (a)

    Any person otherwise authorized by law to consume liquor or nonintoxicating malt liquor may, except as provided in section 4-1 of this Code, consume liquor or nonintoxicating malt liquor in Alexander Faribault Park (North Alexander); provided that, any such liquor or nonintoxicating malt liquor so consumed is from a container of less than one liter capacity, except as provided in subsection (b) of this section.

    (b)

    Consumption of liquor or nonintoxicating malt liquor from a container larger than one liter is permissible in Alexander Faribault Park (North Alexander), if a permit to use such container shall have been issued by the city administrator at least five (5) days prior to its use.

    (c)

    All persons applying for a permit, as provided in subsection (b) above, shall pay to the city such fee as the council shall provide for by resolution and shall furnish such other information relative to the time and place of the use of such larger-than-one-liter container, as the city administrator shall require on an application form to be provided by the city administrator.

    (d)

    Nothing herein contained in this section shall prohibit the sale of intoxicating or nonintoxicating malt liquor in Alexander Faribault Park (North Alexander) pursuant to a license for such sale issued by the city.
