§ 22-18. Duty to plank within established time; penalty.

(a)

Whenever a railroad or railway company has been directed by the council to plank their street crossings, or approaches thereto, as provided in this article, such company shall, within the time prescribed by the resolution requiring such work, complete such planking.

(b)

Any such company which refuses or neglects to plank its crossings as directed by the council shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
