§ 28-101. Metering of private water wells of sewer customers.

Upon request by the city, a property owner having a private water well as their source of potable water and choosing to be serviced by the city sewerage system, shall submit to the installation of a water meter to their well for the purpose of monitoring the amount of water used from the well and computing the sewer service charges. The property owner shall obtain a water meter from the city at their expense, and install such meters at their expense. This section does not supersede the provisions outlined in section 28-1.
