§ 28-151. Unpolluted waters.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any owner, occupant or user of any premises to direct into or allow any stormwater, surface water, water from air conditioning systems, oil or other material hereafter excluded by the city to drain into the sanitary sewer system. Stormwater runoff from limited areas, which may be polluted at times, may be discharged to the sanitary sewer by permission of the approving authority.

    (b)

    Stormwater, and all other unpolluted drainage, shall be discharged to such sewers as are specifically designated as combined sewers or storm sewers, or to a natural outlet approved by the approving authority and other regulatory agencies.
