§ 4-28. Persons under 21; illegal acts.

  • It shall be unlawful in the city for:

    (1)

    License or permit holders under this chapter to permit any person under the age of twenty-one (21) years to drink alcoholic beverages on the licensed or permitted premises;

    (2)

    A person under the age of twenty-one (21) years to consume any alcoholic beverages;

    (3)

    A person under the age of twenty-one (21) years to purchase, attempt to purchase or have another purchase for him or her any alcoholic beverage, unless under the supervision of a responsible person over the age of twenty-one (21) for training, education, or research purposes;

    (4)

    Any person to induce a person under the age of twenty-one (21) to purchase or procure any alcoholic beverage, or to lend or knowingly permit the use of the person's identification by a person under the age of twenty-one (21) years for the purpose of purchasing or attempting to purchase an alcoholic beverage; or

    (5)

    Any person to sell, barter, furnish or give alcoholic beverages to a person under twenty-one (21) years of age.
