§ 7-67. Application, administration and enforcement.

The application, administration and enforcement of the Minnesota Electrical Code shall be in accordance with the Minnesota Electrical Act. The Code shall be enforced in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections 326B.081 through 326B.085, within incorporated limits of the city and the extraterritorial limits permitted by law. The City of Faribault's Community and Economic Development Department - Building Code Division shall administer the Minnesota Electrical Act and shall be the enforcing agency. The Minnesota Electrical Code shall be enforced by the city's electrical inspector who shall be appointed by the city council to administer the Code.
