§ 20-16. Commission to submit zoning plan; hearing prerequisite.

The planning commission, upon its own motion, may, and upon instructions of the council shall, prepare a proposed revised zoning plan for the city. Before recommending such plan to the council, the commission shall hold at least one public hearing thereon after giving notice similar to that required by section 20-14 of this chapter.
