§ 24-2. Area where snowmobiling prohibited, exception.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful to operate a snowmobile within the area of the city bounded by Seventh Street on the north, the Straight River on the east, Highway 60 and Division Street on the south and Third Avenue Northwest on the west, other than on the traveled portion of Second Street. No snowmobile may be operated in that area or on any part of the segments of streets or avenues forming those boundaries at any time, except on Second Street.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful to operate a snowmobile within a city park, on city property or a city trail, including the River Bend Nature Center, except city streets/alleys or in areas designated by resolution of the city council or in use by city, county or state personnel for public purposes.
