§ 28-23. Discontinuance of service.

All persons receiving water service from the city who desire a discontinuance of such service shall notify the city water division. Upon receiving such notice, the city shall remove the water meter and shut off the water supply from such premises. Once the water has been shut off pursuant to this section, it shall not be turned on again until full payment has been made for the water used through the date of such notice.
