§ 28-54. Same—Location; enclosed in iron box; specifications for iron box; etc.

The street stopcock required by section 28-53 of this division shall, in each case, be fitted into the service pipe at the outer edge of the sidewalk, or at such point in the street as the city may direct, and must be closed with a substantial iron box provided with a strong iron covering and fastening. The size, shape and pattern of the box, cover and fastening to be furnished shall be determined by the city.
