§ 28-171. Pretreatment charges and fees.

  • The amounts to be charged by the city to users for reimbursement of its costs of setting up and operating the pretreatment program are set forth in the city's fee schedule. The charges include the following:

    (a)

    Charges for wastewater discharge permit applications including the cost of processing such applications;

    (b)

    Charges for monitoring, inspection, and surveillance procedures including the cost of collection and analyzing a user's discharge, and reviewing monitoring reports and certification statements submitted by users;

    (c)

    Charges for reviewing and responding to accidental discharge procedures and construction;

    (d)

    Charges for filing appeals;

    (e)

    Charges to recover administrative and legal costs (not included in section 28-165 of this article) associated with enforcement activity taken by the public works director to address industrial user noncompliance.
