§ 17-11. Unlawful deposit of garbage, litter, or other waste.

  • No person shall place, deposit or permit to be deposited any human or animal excrement, garbage, rubbish, offal, or the body of a dead animal, or other litter in or upon any public street, trail, sidewalk, parking lot, public waters or the ice thereon, shore land areas adjacent to rivers or streams, public lands, or, without the consent of the owner, private lands or water or ice thereon.

Ord. No. 2003-15, § 3, adopted June 10, 2003, repealed § 17-11, in its entirety and enacted new provisions to read as herein set out. Prior to amendment, § 17-11 pertained to unlawful deposit of objectionable waste and derived from Code 1971, § 28-108(a).
