ORDINANCE 89-13(A)
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO RICE COUNTY DISTRICT ONE HOSPITAL FOR THE PURPOSE
OF CONSTRUCTING AN IDENTIFICATION SIGN ON PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY ADJACENT TO FIRST STREET
SOUTHEAST
Whereas, Rice County District One Hospital has requested the City of Faribault to
grant it a franchise for the purpose of constructing an identification sign on public
right-of-way; and
Whereas, the city has conducted a public hearing after public notice pursuant to the
City Charter and determined that the requested identification sign will not adversely
affect the public; and
Whereas, due to the space limitations in and around the hospital's northeast entrance
and its lack of adequate visibility from Highway 298, no alternative sign locations
are available; and
The City of Faribault ordains:
